  This hotel was terrible. It was filthy, nothing worked well, and there was black mold in the bathroom. The staff was not helpful, bordeing on mean. Not willing to offer directions, restaurant recommendations, or to help with broken items. It is in a fairly unsafe location, not a good place to wander with children looking for dinner, etc. This place was so bad that we left and got in a cab to find another hotel without even having a reservation--- even though we'd prepaid for the rooms. It was worth the financial loss to find alternate lodging that was clean, safe and sanitary.

  My husband and me stayed at Hotel Cavour two nights, on the way to Positano. The Hotel is great value and its location was perfect to get to know Napoli's incredible historic center. We would certainly reccommend it to our friends. The hotel staff was very helpful
