The Executive Inn Whistler is a good choice if you want a comfortable room in the heart of the village. The front-desk person who greeted us was not very friendly, and when we arrived around 1:30pm, he told us we had to wait a couple of hours to check in. It was mid-week, off season, the hotel was near empty, and judging by the dust on the towels in our room, he just didn't want to let us check in early - it wasn't like the room wasn't ready. Great bed, and nice little kitchenette. Wood burning fireplace for the winter. The 2 person tub is interesting - more like a mini hot tub than a jacuzzi tub. You sit on seats in the tub, and can't really stretch out, because it's deep, not long. We had to ask for new towels, because they were very dusty - as was the rest of the bathroom (hadn't been used for a while I think). Nice little balcony, but a little loud at night being so close to the village. It's an older hotel, with nice wood ceilings. While I can't say there was anything wrong with the place, I don't know if we would stay there again on our next trip to Whistler.
