My grand daughter was eaten alive by BED BUGS the first night there. They switched rooms but that did not undo the damage that had already been done. They did not charge us in the end but we had to take her to the emergency room and it was awful. She is 4 years old and she was covered with huge welts under her neck on her arms her back her legs even on her little rear end. We had plans for the weekend... Sea World, the beach and things were ruined. When we arrived everything was beautiful but when Alexis woke up in the morning and was so bitten that she could not even eat the complimentary fruit loops and was so sick that she could not enjoy the day we had planned at Sea World it was awful. Days Inn did not even apologize for the suffering and believe me she suffered. That trip was several weeks ago and she still has scabs and we still have to apply creams to her sores that she does not end up with too many scars. Never again will I stay in any DAYS INN!

  • As expected.

This was a last minute trip. So, we decided to take the cheapest hotel available. Pros: not too expensive clean right off of the freeway free wifi Cons: the building closet to the freeway is not so quiet. (you can hear the traffic) its a drive from downtown San Diego (about 10 - 15 minutes) Overall I would say this is a place to stay at if you are passing through, looking for last minute lodging or trying to save some money. It is about a 15 minute drive from downtown san diego, sea world, zoo, and the beaches. so, if you don't mind driving and finding parking then it is not too bad. Just make sure you start your day early. I would stay here again if I couldn't find a place in downtown San Diego.
