My sister and I had to make a trip out to Iowa just after our father passed away at the beginning of '09. We found this on the internet and we were VERY pleased. We stayed there for four nights. My kids enjoyed the pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is convenient to a lot of things in Des Moines. I would stay here again!

Right next to a truck stop!
08/04/2008The rooms were cldean, the staff was a little unprofessional. lots of hoodlum looking guys hanging around in the lobby for no apparent reason. we did not feel totally safe.

We stayed here the night before our flight out of the Des Moines area. The closest restaurants or shopping areas are about 3 miles away. The rooms are clean and VERY large, but the beds & pillows are quite flat and hard. The internet connection didn't work - it kept timing out. The exercise area and pool are larger than those typically found in hotels and the game room is a nice added touch. Instead of an airport shuttle, they actually call a cab and reimburse you.

I found this hotel through the web site and was thrilled with the excellent staff and facility. We stayed there for business where we found the internet free and high speed. The rooms are larger than average hotel rooms.
The breakfast is fabulous, variety of items to choose from for your personal enjoyment.
I would strongly recommend this facility to anyone that is flying out of the airport in Des Moines or has business on the south or west side of the city. Although, it only takes minutes to get anywhere in Des Moines from this hotel, wonderful experience!
