The Gresham Hotel is absolutely beautiful and well-situated on O'Connell Street in Dublin. From the minute we walked in the door, my nephews and I were treated like gold. We were early for check-in, but seeing how tired the kids were from the overnight flight, the staff got us into our rooms early. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. Everything was supplied in abundance and the staff who cleaned the rooms never left even a speck of lint behind. We ate two meals rather late at night in the lobby restaurant and the sandwiches were great and the servers were lovely. On the back of the menu there's a list of all of the celebrities who have stayed there, and I really got the feeling that they were not treated any better than we were. we were made to feel that special. Reception and the concierge were always available to happily answer questions, and once when I booked a tour and needed to print a voucher, Raphael at Reception allowed me to use the front desk printer. Little kindnesses like that, combined with the history, grandeur, and location of The Gresham, have spoiled me. I can't imagine ever staying anywhere else on a return trip to Dublin. Many thanks to this wonderful hotel.

Wonderful. The location is great, you can take the 747 bus to the hotel from the airport,it is right by City Center. and next door to a tourist infomation shop, but the front desk is very helpful. The rooms were large, as was the bathroom - very clean and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The lobby serves food and tea with a large bar area also, and is connected through the lobby to a restaurant pub.

We stayed in the Gresham in the summer when everyone else's rates were awful. Their rate was significantly less than others, and I was concerned that maybe the hotel wouldn't be so good. Was I ever wrong!! A luxury hotel, beautifully appointed, within walking distance of absolutely everything. A truly wonderful choice. The only negative was that the restaurant in the hotel was very expensive; however, there are many, many restaurants nearby so that was not an issue for us.

Our room was very poor for the following reasons 1) the air conditioning did not work and the room was hot, so two fans were supplied, we were told that the hotel was full and they could not move us 2) there was no bath robes as advertised 3) bathtub was dirty 4) there was no safe in the room as advertsed 4) there was not place to hang your clothes 5) the room was on the sixth floor but elevators only went to the fifth floor 6) we gave a list of the problems to the manager and was told that they would get back to us, but never did 7) however we were given free breakfast and parking for our dissatisfaction

This is a Very Nice Hotel, nice walking in front and down the streets. Very safe and amusing. Walk to Temple Bar district, and main shopping close by. Great Concierge. Very helpful.
Nice Irish Pub, Madigans, just two doors down so you can enjoy a night cap before settling in at decent rates.
