We arrived in Corpus to visit family late Saturday after a funeral in Laredo and decided to stay over. Our favorite hotel had only smoking rooms left, so we stayed here to be close to family. We were exhausted from the drive (SA to Laredo to Corpus) and emotionally drained, just wanting to get in bed. Checked in at 10:00 pm and found this: strong odor (not bad, possibly a cleaner), mold/mildew in shower, and worst of all, hair and what seemed to be Kleenex in the bed. I could barely sleep (on top of blanket), and certainly didn't want to eat there or even make coffee. There's more: wires sticking out of wall, mirror framing coming off, microwave on top of refrigerator (both wobbled when my husband tried to store his insulin in fridge). When I complained the next morning, "sorry about that," was the answer!

Please look for another motel. This motel was very bad. The rooms were very dirty and smelled bad. Our fist room did not have light. Roaches were running free all over the place. The second room we got was a bit better but was dirty and the T.V. did not work. If you are looking for a bad motel this it!!!! I would not stay here again!!!!

The hotel was being remodeled, the room I stayed in (409), had mold on the picture frame. The lampshade look like it had been burned around the edges. No face towels in the rest room. The evening staff was rude, they could barely speak English, I ask for an iron and ironing board. They told me that they would bring it to the room, 30 minutes later I went to the lobby, and the individual was sitting on the sofa with has buddy on the internet. I will never stay in this place again.

This motel is roach infested. The floors are dirty. There were roaches in the microwave and fridge. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper b/c all we had in the room was a half used roll. They didnt answer the phone in the office so we had to hunt down housekeeping just to be able to take a shower. There were holes in the wall and they were molded in spots. The room was dark and it had a fowl odor. The sheets didnt fit the bed so we had to sleep on top of them instead of under them. Overall I will never pay $130 for a roach motel again!!! Please dont waste your money or your time!!!

Front desk clerk checks us in ok but in t-shirt and slacks. not very professional. Lobby was clean, but once in parking area I did not feel comfortable leaving car. Room was clean but needed alot of updating. found that the carpet by A/C unit was wet and getting worse. TV remote did not work. Complained to front desk who said would come up and check on both. Never did. In the evening, people are loitering in parking lot and by rooms. Noisy and did not really sleep well due to people talking and walking by our room at all hours. Was suppose to stay for 4 nights but checked out after 1 night. Management needs to address rooms, and A/C units, TV and provide better security for parking lot. Will not stay there again.
