  This hotel used to be the main Singapore post office -- and thus it sits in a great, central spot along the Singapore River - just a stone's throw from downtown and Chinatown. Lobby is fantastic, meeting spots are plentiful. Rooftop restaurant is trendy and very expensive. Breakfast is extravagant and has ethnic specialties from 3 continents - pricey - but worth the price if you're a big breakfast eater. I had an inside room, which, because it looked out into the inside of the hotel, was quite dark and a gloomy with the drapes closed all the time. Fitness center is ultra-modern and open.

  Superb conversion to a hotel - luxurious - great service. Some rooms are a little small - bathrooms are very large. Luxurious appointments. Location and views are great on the Singapore River. Pool location is great right on the river. Post Bar is inviting and recommended even if not staying at this hotel. Nice walks to Raffles Ctr, Boat and Clarke Quay. Look forward to staying here again
