Hotel was disappointing. I've stayed at Comfort Inn and had suites in KY and PA. and enjoyed them. I paid for what was advertised as a suite but it wasn't. Room just had a small partition with a small sofa that was not a sofa bed. Not very clean, A/C was very noisy and there was a security light right outside the window preventing you from darkening the room at night. The quilts actually seemed soiled. Breakfast was a joke as you couldn't get a seat and the selection limited. The waffle maker was in front of the coffee and you had to hurdle people to get coffee I was very disappointed. The front desk personnel were however helpful.

Stayed here for son's graduation at Fort Jackson. Very convenient location, close to highway, also close to restaurants and supermarket. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, tv was great. Continental breakfast was awesome - better than most. Pool was clean and washer/dryer was very helpful with my son's mound of laundry. When dryer was broken, manager let us use the staff dryer instead of having to go to laundromat we didn't even ask, he just offered. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again if ever in the Columbia area.

The hotel was excellent and very clean. The comp breakfast was nice. We stayed at the Comfort Suites for graduation from Basic Training. The travel time to Ft. Jackson was at the very most 10 minutes. The hotel employees were very friendly and helpful with recommendations for dining options. FYI--on graduation day, leave early for Ft. Jackson, and you will have a stress free morning. Make sure you have a picture ID to gain access to the Base.

Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Awesome flat screen TV. Free WiFi was an added bonus. I enjoyed my stay here very much. The free breakfast was great in helping me get off to a good start in the mornings and the coffeemaker in the room did the rest. Stayed here to watch my son graduate basic training at Ft. Jackson. Good resturants were nearby also.
