  Room on first floor has sliding glass doors to small patio with two chairs overlooking Richardson Bay. This made for a lovely, sunny room and easy access to parking lot and walking path. Surprisingly there wasn't an extra security bar for the door. Main room door had deadbolt but no chain. Area is extremely safe but single travelers should ask for a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor. King-sized bed comfortable. Plenty of drawer and closet space for two and in-room fridge kept our own water and soda cool.
  Room included breakfast which had make-your-own waffles, bagels and muffins which could be toasted, cereal, yougurt, and fresh fruit. Newspapers available at no charge. After breakfast go for a lovely walk on the public shoreline path which runs behind the hotel. Also walk to dinner at Robata sushi bar and grill or Piati's or drive to the Marin Brewing Company at Larkspur Landing or Left Bank in Larkspur proper. Also visit the Marin Headlands and stop at the National Park Service center and gift shop and the Marine Mammel Center. A suggestion: Take some of the money saved on breakfast and help these two worthy projects!

  Very comfortable bed and pillows. easy access from freeway and close to san francisco. decore nicely done; not tacky. inclusive breakfast buffet was very good with excellent coffee. bathroom sink ...

  Very comfortable bed and pillows. Easy access from freeway and close to San Francisco. Decore nicely done; not tacky. Inclusive breakfast buffet was very good with excellent coffee. Bathroom sink was plugged and did not drain overnight and phone beside bed did not work, but phone on desk did work. Staff was very friendly and the setting on Richardson Bay was quite nice. Very popular with the business traveler and business meetings. Considering the prices of other local accomodation, I feel this was the best value for the money if you prefer some comforts.
