  Very clean, small Euro-style rooms, unless you get a suite. Substantial breakfast. Very helpful and informative staff (tourist info, taxi booking, help dealing with credit cards stolen on metro, receiving mail etc). Several nice restaurants 3 blocks away, off main road. 15 min walk to Omonia Square shopping, banks, metro. Wi-fi free in room, also 2 shared computers in lobby. Mini-fridge, TV, phone, moderate size bathroom with shower. Access: either taxi from airport or (if only little luggage) express bus X95 or metro blue line to Syntagma, then taxi or bus 3 or 11 to Polytechnica.

  Hotel and staff were great. Breakfast very nice. Front desk helpful and very fluent in English. Rooms clean with an in-room safe. The hotel was across the street from both the Archeologcial Museum, nice, and the Polytechnic University, seedy with homeless/druggies hanging out nearby. (not a deal breaker as they stayed well away from the hotel itself). The area is in the older part of downtown and streets are very crowded, still it's easy to get around and the value is there.
