It would have helped if the site warned people they rent rooms by the week and month. Full size beds not queen size and short. I?m 5?10? and my feet went off the bed with my elbow in my wives face. Showers only no Tub and remember to bring your own shampoo, etc. Across the street is the Train. The A/C units above the door are in need of replacement. Staff person at desk was very polite and kind. But this is not a place I would come back to with my family.

The people were wonderful, great service.After visiting Calico Ghost town, and their huge outlet, we relaxed at the pool. My husband and I checked adjoining rooms for the kids, so we had privacy at night. We felt very secure not only with the cameras but also because the hotel is located just next to the Marine Logitics Base... Lots of security. The hotel rates were very reasonable, so next time we stop in Barstow, we know where we'll stay! Oh they also have a guest laundry room which I used before we went out to dinner. We looked clean and crisp!

After our little vacation in the Colorado River we stopped in Barstow for a couple of days, and stayed in the PennyWise Inn. The people were wonderful, great service.After visiting Calico Ghost town, and their huge outlet, we relaxed at the pool. My husband and I checked adjoining rooms for the kids, so we had privacy at night. We felt very secure not only with the cameras but also because the hotel is located just next to the Marine Logitics Base... Lots of security.
