  The staff could take some lessons in friendliness. The hotel was clean, but the breakfast was poor and not well staffed. The hotel is in an area that is on the fringe of some ugly streets, and a few blocks away are some very shady looking guys hanging out looking for trouble.
  during the day it is fine, with a lot of businesses in the area. Kind of like DC was when our crackhead was mayor before he went to jail for smoking crack on camera. The hotel is only a two minute walk to the metro, and you can get to places like the archeological museum in a few minute walk from the hotel. The beds were awful, the internet never worked, but it was cheap and I've stayed in worse places.
