I really enjoyed this hotel. It was simple to figure out how to get from the airport to Liverpool st station by the tube and the hotel is located right at the station so no need for a tax (although it is quite a distance from Heathrowi. The lobby (or ""living room"" as they called it) was very modern and there was no typical ""registration desk"" instead there was a large table that several people with laptops stood at to help register people (although at less busy times they would be walking around the lobby with the laptops and welcoming people too.) The room I had was smaller than typical rooms in the US but was very clean, comfortable and modern and the bathroom was very nice with a huge soaking tub and shower. The internet, movies, and organic fruit drinks/water/etc were all free! Since my laptop wasn't working, I found a couple of computers for guests on the second level near the elevators that seemed to be available most times I walked by that area. The staff was very friendly. The lady who registered me personally walked me to my room. My room faced the inner courtyard so I did not have a view but that did not bother me since I was too busy watching free movies and drinking free organic fruit juice to care. =)

I stayed over a weekend to see a different side of town than I'm accustomed to and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very nicely design and decorated- modern, chiche, boutiqueyish...quiet rooms, mine had a nice view of the Gerken and Lloyds of London...not much to do in immediate area but a tube/train line is practically at the base of the building (lancaster)- would go back for sure...nice ammenities in the room.
