11/12/2009We checked in with no problem, staff was very nice. the room on the other hand, was dirty, the fridge did not work, we had to plug the coffee maker ...
We checked in with no problem, Staff was very nice. The room on the other hand, Was dirty, The fridge did not work, We had to plug the coffee maker in, In the bathroom. The beds were not comfortable at all! Our room was in the back of the hotel right next to a bar, And we heard yelling and whatnot all night long. Aswell as the Freeway was right there so we could hear all the cars all night long! The building was not secure the gates were open all day and night. They were doing construction in the rooms across the hall so we could smell spray paint the whole time! Over all we would never stay there again!

What a relief to stay in a Hot City with a Cool Room! With an excellent staff, I was able to settle down in the scorching California heat after a long day of rest. I give the staff at the Days Inn 5 stars!

Poor Housekeeping

When we arrived in our room, we found one bed completely unmade, just a bare mattress. The toilet had ants crawling around the rim, and the bathroom floor was sticky. It looked like the maid got halfway done making one of the beds and left without finishing. We called the front desk and they moved us to another room, but it was still an unpleasant way to start out. The new room had been cleaned, but there was still a candy wrapper on the floor next to the TV. Their housekeeping staff seems to be a bit below par.Both rooms were hot when we arrived and the air conditioner in the new room was positioned in a corner, so it was very effective at cooling that corner, but not the rest of the room. It took a few hours for the room to get down to a comfortable temperature. On the other hand, the pool was very nice. Large, clean, and a very comfortable temperature. It made the warm room tolerable, since we just put the AC on high and went to the pool for a couple of hours.
