The Balcon de Competa can be found nestled in the mountains, 638 metres above sea level, 18km from the coast and 49km from Malaga, in the heart of the Axarquia, Costa del Sol. Built in the traditional Spanish village of Competa, it is the perfect place to relax and get away from it all, or enjoy a game of tennis, take in the spectacular views, enjoy the mountain walks or go horse riding.
Please note that, at the moment, the main road into Competa is closed due to building work. When you reach the village continue along the main road which goes to the next village of Canillas de Albaida. Then take a sharp right hand turning up into Competa. Once you get to the top of this road, take the left hand road following the signs for the Ermita San Anton, this is a hermitage just after the hotel. If you go past the Jarel Wine Bodega along the main road then you have gone too far. If you have any problems do not hesitate to contact us.
