We stayed in June 2009 and had great service. The hotel is very secure, clean and smells good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The beds are VERY comfortable. One thing though, most hotel offer a continental breakfast they only offer an all you can eat buffet for $11.00

This hotel put a hold on our credit card two times. This prevented us from using our card the entire rest of the visit. It took them a WHOLE WEEK to get it figured out and we were without our card that entire time. They never offered to do anything about it or compensate us in anyway for their error! I would NEVER stay here again. The rooms are ok but the hassle we had to go through was awful and they could not have cared less about our inconvenience due to their error! HORRIBLE Customer service! Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel!

Our stay here was very pleasant. The staff was great. My only negative comment would be that the rug had a large ugly stain. And it didn't seem like the rug was vacuumed every day. When traveling with a toddler, you seem to notice these things a little more carefully.

We go to Orlando every October for the Halloween event at Universal Studios. We usually have a large group, so I look for a nice hotel for not much money. In the past, we have stayed at overpriced hotels and a few really nasty ones. This was our second year at the Hilton Garden Inn off I-Drive and it will definitely be where we stay again next year.
The staff was extrememly friendly and accomodating as we needed 2 rooms side by side. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were clean and nicely decorated. Everyday, our room was cleaned very well. We did stop by the business center to use the Internet and found it very useful. It is a great added feature!
We saw, but didn't eat, the breakfast buffet. Some hotels have a free continental breakfast that isn't very good. This one looked great and I don't mind paying extra for a nice breakfast. We will definitely try it on our next stay.
Location is great! It is right off of I-drive and less than 3 minutes from Universal. There are lots of great restaurants nearby, and there are always tons of things to do on I-drive.
You should give the Hilton Garden Inn a try! You won't regret it! -

The Hilton Garden Inn near Universal on American Way was a great place to stay. It was clean, the staff was friendly and very helpful. They had coffee to great you in the lobby in the morning and cookies and fruit to greet you at night. The pool was clean as were the rooms. Shuttle service to Universal was prompt and easy. We had a great time. We were able to send and check e-mail at the business center. The only problem was a radio played all night that we heard in the room next door. We finally called the desk and they turned it off. It seems the staff plays the radios as they clean and leave them on. But once we called, they immediately remedied the situation.
