The hotel staff is very accomodating. The restaurant is great, especially the breakfast. Bar is very active. Overall enjoyed the stay. The room itself was fine. However, the cleanliness was lacking. The mirror on the bathroom door looked like it had never been cleaned. Found tags from clothing underneath the mattress cover. Someone had left their robe hanging in the closet and it was still there. Would consider staying again.

We stayed here again for the 4th time, and each time found it to be very clean, customer oriented, outstanding staff, always there to help. Even at night upon arrival following a late dinner with friends, there were busboys outside the hotel welcoming us to their Hotel After staying in some 1500 motels over the last 35 years of traveling on business, this is one I always enjoy coming to. It isn't like the large, corporate chains that really don't care about you as a person. Try this hotel, you won't be sorry. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Paul and Denise

Hotel doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is quite nice. The beds and rooms were very comfortable. In fact the bed might be the most comfortable bed I've slept in. There was a mariachi conference going on the weekend we stayed so there was lot of noise but the AC unit drowned most of it out. Has a couple of decent restaurants nearby and the bar in the hotel was pretty cool. The hotel sits very close to the interstate so the bar draws some very unsightly people, some cool, some that should be in prison. Overall it was a decent stay..I would consider it again but will definitely check in to some of the other hotels in the ALB area.

The first room they gave us had hair on the comforter, cracks in the walls and a broken lamp. The second room was better, but still far from clean let alone elegant. The only good thing about tihs hotel was the breakfast. It was very well stocked and lots of good varity. If you don't care what your room looks like and you just want a hotel with a good breakfast then go, otherwise stay away!

This was a very disappointing stay. We were at the hotel for 5 nights. The first day, the hotel shut off the water and didn't let us know and then when we turned the water on, black water came pouring out of the faucets from the sink, tub and toilet. The ""engineer"" said it was calcium and nothing to worry about. The last time I checked, calcium is white. The rooms were minimally adequate. The tub fixtures were not completely attached to the wall, the ceiling appeared to have had water damage and was coming off in pieces. The room was not clean. The day we got there, there was a t-shirt under the bed, a few goldfish crackers and some popcorn in various other areas of the room. For the most part, the front desk people were friendly with the exception of one young lady who was consistently rude - her name is Lauren. The staff does not seem to know what services they are offering their guests as we asked about a shuttle to our conference and were told that airport service was their priority and there was not a shuttle definitely available. We then rented a car but found out the next day there is definitely an arrangement for us to be taken to our conference by hotel shuttle. This occurred again when we asked about rides to the mall to get on the shuttles for the balloon fiesta. Lauren told us not until 5:30 a.m. and the next morning we found out they were providing rides as early as 4:45 a.m. which is when we wanted to go. We will not be staying here again. The only positive aspect was that the beds were very comfortable.
