Both My son and I enjoyed our stay here and we meet couples who we both enjoyed and had a very good time here. This place is Not a Royal plalce but would tell everyone to stay here and go back again. The Pools are great, staff is great. We had a problem at 10pm with our A.C. unit in room and within 20 minutes we had a new one installed and working great. Please look into The Dayton House and U will enjoy your stay

We booked our resort stay through travel online web site. The timeof check-in through travel online was 2 and hotel policy was 3 it was 1:15 when we arrived they were very rude and adamant about telling us that our room was not ready and we were early. When booked i listed the number of people accomadating room would be my husband and I and our two small children. I had the paper from travel online to prove this but she insisted that they were not on the reservations. She kept acting like I was trying to get over on her. There were no african americans in the lobby that day besides us and I did not see anyone else be treated with such little dignity. She talked to my husband and I like we were children and I would not recommend this resort to any of my friends simply because of the attitude that the staff had! I am extremely disatisfied.

I have been traveling to Myrtle Beach every year since I was a child and now we still make Myrtle Beach our Annual Summer Trip with my parents and my family. Our family has three teenagers and they love the dayton house too. We have been staying at the Dayton House for about 9 years or so and we couldnt imagine staying anywhere else. Our favorite part of the Dayton House is the yellow umbrellas and picnic area. It is a great place to just put your coolers and towels and radios without worrying about sand. Its a great inbetween place so you can go from the beach to the pool and then to the table to get some sun. The rooms are not extremely large but when your in Myrtle Beach your not in your room that much anyway. The Dayton house is in walking distance of Downtown and the pier and also in walking distance of California pizza and Kirks Ice cream which is a staple in our trip. You can just order a pizza and walk it back to the picnic area at night and watch the fireworks or go look for shark teeth on the beach. The Dayton house is extremely accomadating and the staff and housekeeping staff are extremely friendly. We wouldnt stay anywhere else!

I have been staying at Dayton House for at least 6 or more years. I stay every year, and love evrything about the Resort. I always take my family. It is a place for family and fun. Close to evrything in walking distance. Clean, safe and friendly.

We had stayed here before and wanted to come back because we were extremely impressed with the hotel. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful when we arrived and we were anxious to start our vacation. The only complaint I had during our stay was I wished they had put at least 2 more extra towels in the room and that our bathroom sink had been cleaned and the floors vaccumed every day during our stay. Other than that we had a wonderful vacation!
