nice place for price

My Husband and I came here for 6 day visit..He is a native of San Francisco so new city very well.. The hotel is in great location..Walking distance to Lombard street , Fisherman's wharf..If plan to walk wear good shoes..LOTS of hills.. plenty of public transportation..parking tight but free..the office staff was very friendly and helpful.Our tv remote stopped working one night so went to office they gave us new remote. We actually got luck and got room with a view.. able to see street. Room size was fine,nice having fridge and microwave in room. The only issue was the shower was made for short person had to bend down bit to get under the shower head..The water pressure was GREAT! Our tub,however, had a crack in floor that was covered by mat. There is a little diner on the hotel that served breakfast and lunch. EXCELLENT breakfast.. very clean and nice friendly service.. will for sure stay here again next time in San Francisco.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very nice and clean. The staff will help you book a tour or arrange an airport shuttle for you which is helpful. The on-site restaurant was really good...my wife and I ate their twice! Give this place a try...it's really charming.

Overall, this motel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful, but not all desk clerks were fluent in English. One big issue for us - there were two of us in the room, but they would not give us but one washcloth each day until the last day. Parking provided by the motel was tight, but parking in San Francisco is at a premium anyway. The TV/internet service went out for several hours one day, but the outage was area wide - not the motel's fault. Definitely good for folks on a budget. If you like lots of space in your room, this is not for you. If you just need a clean, comfortable place to sleep after sightseeing all day, this will work. Didn't see any other rooms but ours. I'm not sure this would be a great place for kids. Not anything for them to do on-site. Restautent on-site was open for breakfast and lunch only. No dinner. But it was close to other places to eat. (a few blocks) Only 3 blocks from the cable car line. Muni stop was very close too.

We stayed at the broadway manor in july with our 3 children (3 and under). The hotel truly made our family trip to san francisco a memorable one. The staff was very accommodating, they were there to take care of our needs from providing us with directions to helping us with the tours. The room was impressive and we had learned from the front desk clerk that the entire building that been renovated, therefore making our room even more enjoyable to stay in. My husband and I felt like we were on vacation too (and that is hard to do with 3 little ones) as we were touring the city and just really enjoying what san francisco has to offer. When we travel back to san francisco we would like to stay at the broadway manor again as we really enjoyed our stay.
