  Don't expect alot from this hotel. They reuse those tiny shampoo containers. The pool had a tint to it. It's an old hotel. My rooms air conditioner was too loud, which was located over the rooms door. Having said all that. I think this hotel offers a realistic view into Mexico that you would'nt get staying in the hotel zone. Acamar is about 7 miles out of the tourist area. Most of the shops in the area don't cater to tourists, don't speak english,menu's only in spanish. I was usually the only American on the beach and the beach is usually very busy. Location is beautiful. People are friendly. A good value for the money. Everyone at thefront desk was very helpful, spoke english. I would go again but brush up on my spanish first.
