Great place to stay!
01/26/2009Close to airport .pick and drop off the next day quick and efficient. rooms were spacious, clean and very attractive. beds huge, very comfortable. price was great! highly recommend it!

The location to the airport is excellent and to the freeway, staff have been very friendly and the room is really clean. Better than I expected, I will definately stay here on all future business trips to the area.

One main factor was the free shuttle service to Old Town. Despite the website info and info in the room, there was no free shuttle to Old Town. I understand gas is going up but false advertising is false advertising. IMHO, advertising should be honored. The 3 mile radius was a benefit though. After the first day, the staff warmed up. We did start off on the wrong foot due to them not picking us up at the airport for over 1/2 hour, especially when they were like right there at the airport. I even called the day before to let them know we were coming, but they did not take down our info and said to call when we had our bags. Albuquerque does not have much going for it as we did not find much selection in things to do. I think I would have liked to have spent a couple days in each major area rather than base ourselves near the ABQ airport.

The staff at this hotel were outstanding. We were in town during a difficult time for our family and were spending a lot of time at a local hospital. The staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible. The hotel and rooms were clean and everything was well maintained. We would be happy to stay here again. Holiday Inn should be proud of their employees!!! A big thanks to the front desk staff.
