I was kind of skeptical about such a low price. But, this was a great hotel! Simple, clean, pretty much up to date. Breakfast was kind of skimpy, but enuff to get you going. No hot tub & only an outdoor pool. Too cool for May. Check-in is a breeze. But, that may be because my reservation was made online thru a travel website. Room was nice. A bit small, but no biggy. Bathroom was good size. Lots of counter space. Linens were clean, which is a huge thing for us! Plenty of towels. No clock, tho. I found that odd. Called downstairs for a wake up call. Never received it. There is a fridge & micro in the room. Nice touch. Iron/ironing board in room. A must for me! I don't care how careful I pack~my clothes STILL get wrinkled & looks like I wadded them up, so I need an iron! This place was so easy to find! Just a hop, skip & jump from the interstate! All in all, I would have to say that this is a very nice hotel for the money. I would definitely stay there again. *A few things about the area~we wanted to eat dinner at a nice restaurant & we found one called 'Blend'. AWESOME! This is an upscale restaurant without the upscale prices. Their most expensive entree was $29. With dinner, drinks & dessert,it came to $76. Premo service! After we ate, we walked to the river & it was beautiful! Cedar Rapids is a very nice town with very friendly people! Downtown is still recovering from the flood of '08, so there isn't a lot of life there. Which made it great for us in regards to walking in & being seated immediately at Blend.*

We stayed over the weekend while working in CR. Breakfast was very good, room nice, clean, fairly quiet. pool was down for remodeling but was to be made into an indoor which would be great in Iowa. We like the place but it is getting pricey now.

We went to Cedar Rapids, just for the weekend, and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. I booked based on one review, and a couple pictures, but was pleasantly surprised at what I got. The room was a little older and showed some signs of wear (mainly in the bathroom), but was very clean. The bed was super comfy too! Front desk staff was very nice, and breakfast was good (muffins, yogurt, waffles, fruit, etc.). Also, the hotel is right off I-380-the main freeway that goes through Cedar Rapids. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable room for not a lot of money. Only downside is that the pool is outdoors, so anyone with children wanting to use the pool would be out of luck in the winter time. Other than that, I have only good things to say!

Our stay at this hotel was perfect. The hotel is absolutely spotless. Not a speck of dirt or dust anywhere. The sheets were quality and the bed was like being at home. We often have trouble regulating the heat/air in hotel rooms...either too hot or too cold and never staying where we want it. Not here. Front desk was helpful and courteous. Maps were given to direct us around the city. Breakfast was served in a clean and homey environment. Large selection of items and attendant there to aid. Guess overall the cleanliness is what will draw us back. Just a very pleasant experience!
