We only stayed one night. The hotel is an older hotel with no frills but the room was very clean and you couldn't ask for a nicer hotel clerk. The balcony is wonderful, very roomy. The decor is what throws you off. When you walk in the room it looks like you've stepped into the 70's. But I don't have any complaints and would stay again.

i read some reviews on here a few days before our trip and was fearing something terrible when i got there. but when we did get there, the room wasnt bad at all. we had a balcony viewing the ocean and pool. for under $* for 7 nights, cant ask for much else. the elevator is still broken as of april 2009, there is no ice machine and one thing i did not enjoy doing was the ""damage inventory"" after driving 27 hours from minneapolis to daytona beach. also, *deposit PER PERSON is required, which seemed a little steep.. obviously for $* a week, not everything is going to be perfect, our door was pretty tough to close from the outside and there were some crazies walking around, but we were on vacation and ignored it my advice: this hotel is perfect for young kids on spring break. its location is very nice, right across the street from a liquor store

ROOM BROKEN INTO
09/22/20081st room was infested with fleas, so they switched us to another room. the next room was ok, the shower spit water out both the orifices at the same time ...
1st room was infested with fleas, so they switched us to another room. The next room was ok, the shower spit water out both the orifices at the same time but the kicker was that our room was broken into at approx. 10:30 at night while we were out. Our bags and cell phones were stolen and the hotel proceeded to tell me about some florida statute saying they aren't responsible for any theft on their property. Luckily online travel agency gave me a refund for the room. I would not stay here again, very inadequate, and obviously unsafe!

IF YOU NEED A ELEVATOR DON'T GO TO THIS HOTEL THE ELEVATOR IS THERE BUT IT DOES NOT WORK AND TWICE DURING MY STAY I HAD "LADIES OF THE EVENING" OR THE OLDEST PROFESSION IN MAN KIND KNOCK ON MY DOOR AND SEE IF I NEEDED "COMPANY" IF YOU HAVE KIDS I WOULD NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT A DARK SIDE EXPERIENCE OF DAYTONA BEACH!!!!
