Located in the city center, on the Pest side, the New York Palace Boscolo is within a 10-minute cab ride to the Danube River. The hotel is just one-minute walk from the Blaha Lujza subway stop and approximately 13 miles from Ferihegy Airport. Nyugati and Keleti train stations are approximately 15 minutes on foot and five minutes by public transportation from the hotel. This is the rethinking of the original edifice, built in 1894, by the creative ideas of Maurizio Papiri and Adam Tihanyi D. The hotel has an eclectic style, relying on the Italian renaissance, with opulent splendor and quality materials such as Carrara, Giallo, Siena, and Botticino Italian marbles that decorate the building.
Inspired by an alpine ice-tunnel, the spa has waterfalls and half-round Swarowski crystal prisms, as well as a full menu of spa service, a sauna, a Turkish bath, and an indoor swimming pool. Designer Adam D. Tihany has created modern backdrops of glass, steel, and light for traditional Italian and local dishes at New York Cafe and the Deepwater Restaurant. The hotel also has a Cigar Bar.
The hotel offers 85 rooms and 27 suites, each with classical furnishings, special silk wallpaper, high-speed Internet access, built-in safe, in-room minibar, and marble bathrooms. Each deluxe room and suite have a glass-walled shower and a separate bath tub. Some guest rooms and suites also have private balconies. All rooms also feature freshly cut flowers, polished furniture, scented soaps, coffee, and standard amenities.
