Barcelo Bavaro Palace All-Inclusive is located on the Southeast coast of Bavaro Beach, approximately 15 miles from Punta Cana International Airport. The complex is situated directly by the sea along a two-mile stretch of white-sand beach, protected by a coral reef forming a natural turquoise-blue swimming pool. The resort's amenities include the theaters, casino, bingo, two discos, beauty center, spa, medical center, children's and adult pools, gardens, shops, game room, breakfast service, Internet cafe, kid's club (with kid's disco), and the Plaza Dominican shopping center. The resort has six on-site restaurants: Buffet Caribe, Steakhouse El Bohio, French Gourmet Chez Palace, La Brisa, La Pina, and Rincon Dominicano. There are also four pool- and two beach-bars, two takeaway pizza stations, and hamburgers and sandwiches outside the international Disco Bavaro. Hotel services include babysitting, in-room dining, valet laundry service, currency exchange, 24-hour front desk service, free parking, and concierge assistance. The all-inclusive rate covers all meals at applicable restaurants, snacks at poolside bars, local drinks, lounge chair and towel service, free shuttle around the five hotels via Bavaro Express mini-train, entrance to the nightclubs, and daily/nightly activities programs for children and adults. Sports and activities include waterskiing, deep-sea fishing, glassbottom or banana boat tours, catamarans, table tennis, tennis, soccer, baseball, volleyball, basketball, aerobics, snorkeling, canoes, pedal boats, kayaking, surfing, water polo, card games, darts, Petanque, mini-golf, and 50% discounts on green fees at the 18-hole golf course. An extra charge may apply to some of the above activities. All rooms feature balconies, air-conditioning, clock radios, bathrobes, bottled water, desks, hairdryers, air-conditioning, complimentary minibars, coffeemakers, satellite TV, separate sitting areas, and safes.
