Booked this hotel because a convention I was attending was held here. It's located on beautiful grounds -- golf course, lake, walking path, gorgeous gardens, water fountains, etc. The property is very well kept. Rooms very comfortable -- sleeping on a "hotel bed" was not a problem here -- very comfortable. Small details like vanity outside of bathroom, and curved shower curtain are a big plus! Very large resort, so getting from point A to point B sometimes could take a while. Restaurants, while a bit pricey, were great. The food in any of the eating places was very good! Drinks great, but again pricey. Be prepared that they charge gratuity on all serviced food/drinks. The Monroe St. Market was great for lighter a la carte foods and snacks. Also, located close to a Publix -- walking distance if you don't have a lot to carry. Several pools on site -- lap pools, family pool, adult pool, and hot tubs -- water was perfect, and pools very clean!

This resort is fantastic! We just got back a week ago everyone at the resort was so kind and helpful we would love to go back. This place is absolutely beautiful!! Yes some people complained about being too big but it is a resort not a hotel. I can't say enough great things about Rosen Shingle, I would stay here again! We ate at one of the resaurants, great food! You are close enough to the airport, Disney, Univeral and plenty of shopping. Highly Recommend!!!
