The hotel was very nice and clean. The rooms are very quiet and have a mini-frig. I would stay here again and recommend it to families, especially, because of the on-site indoor pool play area. Kids will love it.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The rooms are very quiet and have a mini-frig. I would stay here again and recommend it to families, especially, because of the on-site indoor pool play area. Kids will love it.

08/05/2008First hotel i saw shampooing the carpets, pool was clean bathrooms were clean, i saw cleaning crew taking coffee pots off the counter and cleaning under everything.

This brand new hotel (opened Dec. '07) is clean and the room was comfortable. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast had more variety than most "continental" breakfasts, offering waffles and biscuits & gravy, as well as various toasts, muffins, cereal, doughnuts, etc. Our bed was more comfy than most hotel beds. If you have kids, they'll love the indoor pool, waterslide and all. The AmericInn is within walking distance of several restaurants, and only a few blocks from the Hot Springs Pool. It's right next door to the gondola that takes you up to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, which offers even more for family activities.
You can certainly pay less for a place to sleep (or much more, for that matter), but if you like to have a little more than the bare minimum, this hotel is a great choice. -
