I have traveled all over the world and not encountered the situation I did at this hotel. I am under government contract and therefore, my government office booked me at this hotel under government rates. When I checked in, they would not honor the rate and the difference between the two rates was about $. For the $ dollars, I found the room not that clean and had to have the maintenance up to the room to get the ventilation in the room working. The toilet wouldn?t work properly or flush completely which was a nuisance. Parking was also only at one end of the building and required a lengthy walk to the hotel. Usually with a hotel of this value there are work-out facilities that are of higher quality. I found this facility to be of the more economy lodge caliber. I felt the hotel was more interested in the bottom line of making a profit rather than the comfort of the guest. There breakfast buffet was not complimentary for that price and very expensive. There were no restaurants in the near vicinity and miles from any shopping. I have never experienced a situation as this in such a pricey hotel. I will never stay at this hotel again!!!!!! As a matter of fact, the office and my company will not be booking rooms here as well.

The hotel is actually quite nice, however, for what you pay, there is much to be desired. First, our room was not serviced at all until day 2; in asking for more towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc due to no service on day one, we discovered that they had us down as a no-show. The pool was nice, but the water was kept extremely warm causing the smoke detectors to go off; the staffs solution was to open up the doors in frigid weather exposing wet children to outside temperatures. Security was also a joke as the outside door to the stairwell was not locked at all our entire stay. No key was required to enter this door; another resident pointed this out to us on the second day after letting us know that it had been left unlocked their entire stay also.
To summarize, I've traveled pretty much around the world and have seen dirty rooms, poor service,etc, but never at a hotel that was so pricey. Paying $159.00 a night was tough to swallow after all this as they had excused for every 'issue'. Top it off, there is no complementary breakfast.
I would not stay here again with a family.
