I stayed here in late October with my family. There were six of us and we booked the family friendly room which gave us all plenty of room. I am known as a hotel snob and let me tell you this place was perfect!! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, the hotel itself was very clean and comfortable, and the contential breakfast was the best I've ever had. The hotel sets off the highway and it convient to all activites. I will definatley return in the future!!

The hotel is very nice, clean, and well appointed. Our room was wonderful - with four adults and two kids, the bunkbeds were just the thing. The hotel is close to most attractions, and much less expensive than surrounding properties. Our one complaint was the quality of the complimentary breakfast. Although the variety of items available was good, the setup was not. The breakfast area was in a meeting room with large tables only, no small tables for groups of four or less. The buffet was in a cramped area, not easily accessible for diners. There is not a pool and spa on the property, but you do have access to that area in an adjacent hotel. The property is a "work in progress" as mentioned by the manager, and we would likely come back when we are in the Glenwood Springs area again.

I reserved a 2 bedroom suite and got a standard hotel room with a small couch--no suite in site. I'm not sure why suite is in the name since they're only hotel rooms. While this was a nice enough hotel, at $$ per night it was hopelessly overpriced. It is comparable to a Comfort Inn or Sleep Inn. Simple rooms, a so-so breakfast--nothing special. Also, this hotel was in West Glenwood, not in downtown Glenwood Springs where the activities and attractions are.

We stayed as the Glenwood Suites as a cheaper alternative to the Hot Springs Lodge. The hotel was gorgeous and new. The staff we had contact with were very professional and courteous. The room was well appointed with a fridge and microwave which is great for leftovers! Our room had two queens AND a bunk bed on the other side of a wall which allowed the kids a place to go to watch their own TV without having to hang out with us older folks. Since we had our car it was no trouble driving the short distance to the Hot Springs Pool downtown. The free breakfast was nice also. It was basically the same as a regular continental style free breakfast with the addition of make-yourself-waffles and sausage and egg breakfast sandwich fixings. It was plenty of food and for the price (free), you can't beat it. We saved about 1/2 of the cost we paid last year staying at the Lodge at the Pool and overall had an at least equally nice experience. This is where we will stay on future trips to Glenwood.
