  This hotel is a new property that is undergoing what is called a soft opening (as of November 2007). This means that while the hotel is open, there is construction going on around it to complete the Spa, business residence units and condos nearby.
  
  The service level at this property is impeccable. All the staff were friendly and helpful and even call you be name whenever possible.
  
  The restaurants offer French, Vietnamese, Chinese and a continental buffet. The food is excellent however the restaurants are rather pricey. You have the option of either eating inside our outside which is poolside. If eating outdoors, you are greeted with a splendid view of the new Sheik Zayed mosque (second largest in the world) right accross the water.
  
  The rooms are large and very clean. The only drawback I could find is that the water temperature is not quite hot enough. Laundry service is available and when clothes return, they are scented with lilacs (an interesting touch).
  
  This hotel is a good alternative for those who want to be away from downtown Abu Dhabi. For vacationers, water sports are offered. For business, this property is a good alternative for those whose business is closer to the airport but it is inconvenient for those who need to be downtown.
  
  All in all, this hotel provides a full range of services with five star quality. The facility is vary impressive and the staff is wonderful. The only drawback is that is is rather isolated (no entertainment or restaurants nearby).
