First, this really looks like a dive hotel from the outside! Eeeks! The room itself was fine but the quote overlooking the bay. In fairness, the Italian Restaurant next door was excellent and the hotel staff - owners - this is a mom & pop place, was accomodating but not enough. A very poor value for the money.

We stayed at Barons By The Bay Inn for the first time.The rooms were very clean and the price was very resaonable. We had a room that had a spectacular view of the sunset and bay. I recommend the second floor rooms for the view.The room was newly renovated with high granite countertops. We enjoyed the shampoo and soap from Bath and Body Work. Dont usually find that nice product in hotels anymore. We will be back Nick and Family

This hotel is very close to the downtown shopping area. The rooms are updated and very clean. The only other hotel choices are off the five lane highway.(Bad location). We went walking along the bay and ate at the restaurant next door-Gambinos.The best Italian food we ever ate.The rooms are very reasonable and weel kept. A great choice for Fairhope.
