  We were in Freiburg during the off season. The Mecure Am Munster was a great hotel for us-- good location, easy to get around Freiburg or to the autobahn. Just be careful to read the agreement-- we were told that breakfast was included in our room price-- it was after they added 15 euros per person per day. It was written in the documentation of our reservation, but I did not have a chance to print that before we arrived at the hotel. The hotel itself was clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good-- lots of choices (although they were the same choices every day.) Most of the staff was incredibly nice and helpful.
