  This hotel is so bad it's surprising that travel online has it on its site. nothing works! no shower, broken toilets, room door lock impossible to open...no maintenance ...

  This hotel is so bad it's surprising that Travel online has it on its site. Nothing works! No shower, broken toilets, room door lock impossible to open...no maintenance have been done for I guess 10 years or so. The management always offered us to change room but other problems rose. BTW it's a former Best Western hotel but still have the sign in front of it (I got caught...) The staff is O.K. I rarely post on these kinds of board but this time I had to.

  This property is a group of privately owned Cabins/Homes that were built mostly in the 1950s. They are located in a wooded setting about 4 miles from the main hwy. on a small paved road. The scenery and loc. is amongst the pines and babbling brooks. The reason you stay here is to enjoy a quiet rustic Cabin with your family. All have bathrooms and most have fireplaces. Ours was cute. Kids loved the big deck, the fireplace and watching deer walk by daily . Laundry facilities and a towel exch. are avail. Several of the ""Cabins"" are gorgeous, some not!
