Welcome to the Cape Diem Lodge. This Victorian villa, dating back to 1889, is nestled picturesquely at the foot of the Signal Hills in Greenpoint, probably the trendiest district in Cape Town. The new Lifestyle Lodge, opened in December 2007 is not only steeped in history and tradition, but also features high quality Afro-European design, the combination of which makes it an innovative establishment in the mother city of South Africa. The Lodges lovely Classic and Superior rooms are decorated in warm tones, and feature modern and exclusive design. The rooms have high ceilings, original Oregon Pine wooden flooring and are fully air-conditioned. Some of our rooms have direct access to the large swimming pool and typical Cape garden. The hotels services and facilities meet the expectations of even the most discerning travellers and offer all the comfort and conveniences imaginable. Just a short walk from the relaxed atmosphere of the Cape Diem Lodge guests will find a plethora of restaurants, boutiques and hip bars. Nearby Attractions

In Green Point, the heart of Cape Town, guests have access to numerous sights within just a few minutes of the hotel. In just 10 minutes walk from the lodge you will reach the VA Waterfront with its harbour. Many of the sailing and motorboat cruises in Cape Town Bay set out from here, and are highly recommended by us, including champagne cruises at sunset or the ferry to Robben Island. On Sundays the Green Point Market is right on the hotel doorstep. Here you can buy reasonably-priced African craftwork in the largest market of its kind in Cape Town. Waterkant and the famous Bo-Kaap can also be reached by foot. Other highlights such as Table Mountain or the beaches of Camps Bay can be reached within 10 minutes by car or taxi. We also offer transfers for sports enthusiasts to the Vergin Activ Sports Centre, which takes around 3 minutes, or you can go jogging directly from the hotel doorstep.
