THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL EVER I WOULDNT NEVER NEVER STAY AGAIN...DIRTY FLOORS SOAP ALREADY OPEN DIRTY TOWELS!!! THEN TO TOP IT OFF THE VALET TRIED TO GET AN EXTRA 20 DOLLARS AFTER I PAID ONCE BEFORE!!!

Good price, good location. Pool was dirty and hottub didn't work. Elevators were shaky. Valet was $20 a night and they didn't seem to have much security. Rooms were clean and a decent size. Restaurant was closed. Staff weren't very helpful and sometimes no one was at the front desk. Were unable to help with recommending places for food and were to go in downtown Detroit. Overall, it was a decent place to stay and the price was right.

We visited this hotel for one night on May 3rd, 2009. Our room was pretty nice, clean, flat screen TV and a good view of the river. The hotel appears to be under going a management change or something and in need of some repairs and updating. No name on the outside of the hotel, elevators were old and noisy. Staff was pretty helpful, restaurant was closed for renovation. Not much going on. Might stay again if some updating is done. Parking is only available as Valet for $20 per day, no self service parking.

This is the 2nd time I stayed at this hotel. Each time the rooms were dirty. The 1st time there was urine on the toilet and hair in the shower. The second stay was more hair and dust all over the room especially in the bathroom. It is clear that they don't book up frequently and don't understand that whether or not someone stays in the room it still needs regular upkeep. During my most recent, and last stay, the air conditioning in the room didn't work and the room was an unbearable 85 degrees.

This is a place I would NOT recommend for anyone to stay at. It was filthy, run down and the customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. I would highly recommend that this is not a place for anyone to stay. There are no services available and it felt unsafe.
