Website of Marley Resort And Spa is a facade. It looks like people have robbed the place of all the nice things you see on their website and replaced it with things they found on the streets. The staff is nothing more then rude swindlers and seem to hate their job and the people staying there. I'm going to list things that made us check out after first day/night stay until the word count stops me. Room had nothing in it but bed and small TV, not at all like any pics seen on website. The mattress was nice but had a 6" height difference from one side to other from being used and never flipped. No toilet paper or paper holder. Asked the staff for toilet paper twice and never received. The pools were filled but not full and had garden hoses running constently into them. Went to bar and were relentlessly harassed to reserve table for International Night Event to be held @ 9 for $65.00. Gave the women the money to just to leave us alone. 9 o'clock came and went, no band, no people, no food and only 1 staff member to be found working. Dinning area had about 6 or 7 tables but only 2 chairs which one of them was broke. Only a few items were available on their menu which we avoided due to hotel conditions and staff. While I was out getting food around 10 pm, the front desk called to tell my fiancée that are luggage had arrived. When I arrived back I noticed how dark the place was, lights off, torches out and my fiancée sitting in room with swollen wrist and bleeding chin due to lack of staff unlit pathway. They refused refund on my money when checking out

A great romantic get-away. The property was exotically decorated, with a secluded beach, and a good restaurant and bar.The property was near Cable Beach attractions; downtown and Pleasure Island were easlily accessable, the dive shuttle came right to the property. Helpful, friendly staff, great sound system in every room, Marley memorabilia everywhere, and hypnotic music. The spa was small, but with several services offered. Children would be bored here, but we loved it

Beautiful place; somewhat secluded. If you're looking for a place to escape and relax, this would be a great choice. Our room ""Nice Time"" was very nice and decorated beautifully in a unique fashion. This is not a typical ""cookie cutter"" resort. It's pretty quiet and great for couples. Would not be a place for children. The staff was all very friendly and likeable. The food was excellent, though a little expensive - but the food everywhere in the Bahamas was pretty pricey. My husband and I would definitely go back.

The Marley Resort used to be Bob Marley's family retreat. It has a private beach, swimming pools, and a hot tub, exquisite dining services, and attentive staff. Personally, I think the Marley Resort is THE QUINTESSENTIAL destination in the bahamas. There are only 16 rooms in the whole resort. It is quiet, peaceful, majestically beautiful, and captures the spirit of the Bahamas. A word to the wise... It's expensive.

My wife and I visited the Marley Resort & Spa and enjoyed the experience so much, we are working towards planning long in advance a return trip in 2010. If possible, we would recommend taking an early flight into Nassau so you can enjoy some of the resort when you arrive. Top-notch resort with wonderful persons. Our entire experience in the Bahamas can only be described as PARADISE.... The resort staff is fantastic, respectful and willing to go out of their way to ensure your stay was ?no problems or worries mon?. I would like to first thank the resort staff General Manager for making this vacation our best! She checked us into the hotel and made sure we got everything we needed. Later she booked a massage for us and it was out of this world. The receptionist as the Spa Tia was great. Our room was fantastic as it was clean, decorated beautifully. Our room was just WOW, what a beautiful view of the ocean and poolside. Room furniture was beautiful with king size hand carved 4 mahogany poster bed, and matching armoire and nightstand ? plenty of room. The only complaint I would have to say is the Bartender is a little slow. He needs to pick up his pace and be more excited. But overall the other bartenders were great. I just cannot say enough good comments about the Marley Resort, resort staff and the total experience. Whatever your doing keep it up.
