We stayed at the hotel to be close to Comerica park...its about a 5-6 mile walk, but definately walkable. Rooms were modern and very nice; could have been a bit cleaner, however, I've worked in the hotel industry for many years and notice things most people wouldn't. The staff was extremly friendly and accommodating. We went to the casino for a little while, but the smoke filled air was a bit too much to handle. It would definately benefit from having seperated smoking/nonsmoking areas. Overall, I really enjoyed the hotel minus the casino.

On a business trip. Very nice hotel with all the amenities you would expect. Friendly staff, comfortable room. The only thing that would keep me from coming back was the noise from everyone's conversation outside my room and down the hallway. Very difficult to get to sleep or have my own private conversation. Tip: No backpacks or suitcases through the casino. I had a small backpack for my laptop and was not allowed to pass through the casino. Although many purses larger than my backpack got through with no problem and saw a few people with backpacks in the casino. Security seemed to be selective.

My husband and I stayed here because the hotel is new and they were running a promotional rate. The hotel is gorgeous, the room was small but beautifully decorated and very comfortable. If there was a way for me to pack the pillows and comforter in my suitcase without being caught, I would have! The front desk staff was very kind and professional, and asked our floor preference. We opted for the top floor so we would have a view, which was amazing. The staff in the hotel bar was friendly, and the prices were fair. There is plenty to see and do in Greektown, and the People Mover stops at the casino so it is easy to get around the city if you don't want to drive. We had a great time, and can't wait to go back!
